Subject Description

Teacher in Charge: S. Belcher.

This course is for painting-orientated students. It is best suited to students that are motivated and are capable of operating in an organised and self-directed manner. The course is designed to increase students’ skills in drawing and developing ideas. They will research and evaluate artist models in order to influence the development of their own work.

The programme will be individually tailored to each student’s talents. Students will complete the standards below or negotiate other alternatives as appropriate.

Entry Guidelines

The best preparation for this course is to have some Art experience for example in Level 1 Art. Entry without meeting this can be discussed with the Teacher in Charge or Head of Faculty
