Level 3 Te Reo Māori
Subject Description
An advanced integrated te reo Māori course, which focuses in greater depth on the four main components of the language: Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing. The achievement objectives of this course are to successfully prepare students for Level 3 NCEA Achievement Standards and Unit Standards. There is often a possibility of a noho marae during the year.
Entry Guidelines
A genuine interest in Māori language and culture. A minimum of 2 NCEA Level 2 standards from te reo Māori.

Koha for marae trip when applicable.

Only students engaged in learning and achievement derived from Te Marautanga o Aotearoa are eligible to be awarded these subjects as part of the requirement for 14 credits in each of three subjects.
