Level 2 Mathematics (MAS) - mainly Internal standards

A course intended to meet the needs of those students who do not have the prerequisites required for the full Level 2 Mathematics Course. The course is Level 2 mainly internally assessed Achievement Standards. One external will be taken at the end of the year.
This course can lead to Statistics or Mathematics at Level 3. Students will not be able to enrol in Calculus at Level 3.

$40 Maths workbook.
A graphics calculator is essential. (Casio 9750 recommended).
14 credits from Level 1 achievement standards.
If progressing from MAS1, students must achieve 1.1 number, 1.4 linear algebra, 1.7 trigonometry and 1.8 geometry. These are all the standards offered in the MAS1 course.
Total Credits Available: 17 credits.
Externally Assessed Credits: 4 credits.
Internally Assessed Credits: 13 credits.
