Course Overview:
This course is exemplary for educating students on the fundamentals of Media Studies practice and is open to all learner capabilities. In this course; students will improve their writing, reading, communication and language skills including stimulating their creative thought processes.
Students will create a music video or short film in consultation with the teacher.
Film production, broadcasting, film analysis and representation of culture in recent New Zealand media texts are themes identified within this course.
