Subject Description

Teacher in Charge: S. Healey

This course has a large practical component and covers physical performance, personal training, social responsibility, skill learning, sports sociology and coaching. The achievement standard assessments are in the form of a written report and/or a practical demonstration.

This course is valuable for anyone interested in the sport and exercise industry and will lay foundations for health related studies.

Entry Guidelines

10 Credits from the Physical Education Level 1 course or by interview with the Head of Faculty if PE was not studied in the previous year. 

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

Approximately $40 for local field trips (dependent on student numbers)
