Subject Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr S. Healey

This course has a large practical component and covers physical performance, principles of training, anatomy, biomechanics, skill learning, sports sociology and coaching. Most of the achievement standard assessments are in the form of a written report.

This course is valuable for anyone interested in the sport and exercise industry. It may also help lay foundations for health related studies.

$25 workbook and approximately $40 for local field trips (dependent on student numbers)

Entry Guidelines

10 Credits from the Physical Education Level 1 course or by interview with the Head of Faculty if PE was not studied in the previous year.
