Subject Description

Teacher in Charge: S. Belcher.

An interesting and wide ranging beginner level course, establishing competent camera use, and covering many aspects of digital photography. It will help students develop their critical thinking skills and develop ideas. This course is best suited to students that are motivated and capable of operating in an organised and self-directed manner, and planning to pursue Photography at Level 3.

The programme will be individually tailored to each student’s talents. Students will complete the standards below or negotiate other alternatives as appropriate.

Entry Guidelines

 Students will ideally have their own camera, though some cameras are available for loan.

Prices may be subject to change
Students need to be aware that they will also be spending extra money on printing costs in addition to the course fees.

You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.

All approvals for courses through this system are subject to satisfactory achievement in remaining internal standards and external examinations. Course Confirmation Day will run at the start of next year, where final approval for each course will be confirmed.
