The course covers Level III Statistics & Modelling Achievement Standards. The course is appropriate for students interested in quantitative aspects of the biological and social sciences, medicine, commerce and in general any field where the collection, analysis and interpretation of quantitative data is important.

AS2.6 (Algebra) and AS2.12 (Probability) Achieved with Merit or higher, or in consultation with HOF.
MAS2 students should achieve all internal standards offered in 2019 as well as AS2.12 Achieved with Merit or higher, or in consultation with HOF.
Total Credits Available: 20 credits.
Externally Assessed Credits: 8 credits.
Internally Assessed Credits: 12 credits.
