Students will increase their understanding of number and algebra, geometry and statistics. They will be exposed to electronic calculation methods to complement mental and written skills. They will develop further their ability to systematically problem solve and mathematically communicate their both their findings and reasoning.
Level 1 Mathematics (MAS) - all internal standards, Level 1 Mathematics (MAT) - mainly External standards, Level 1 Numeracy
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery$22 – maths buddy or equivalent or workbooks
Calculator (minimum scientific) essential.
Graphics calculator ( eg.Casio 9750) recommended. No need for a scientific calculator if have a graphics calculator.
A graphics calculator is essential for all level 2 and 3 Mathematics courses.
