Teacher in Charge: Mrs C. Kagaya
An integrated academic English course (Level 2) designed to meet the specific needs of each student and to support them in their acquisition of English language skills. The focus is on improving students’ speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary in order to cope with the academic curriculum of a New Zealand high school.
Throughout the year students will be assessed on a selection of the NCEA ELL unit standards listed below, according to their language ability.

Contributions and Equipment/StationeryAll textbooks used in lessons are provided.
Students purchase their own grammar books for self- study.
